Velocicut Compact Router

Developed from the 2516i, the VelociCut is a mini router with big capabilities.

Sharing the same rigid construction, 635 x 406mm (25" x 16") work area and Hi-Drive electronics as its engraving counterpart, it is fitted as standard with a powerful industrial routing spindle and comes completely encased in a high visibility noise-reducing safety cabinet.

The spindle is supplied with a pressure foot which in addition to helping secure sheet materials whilst cutting at rapid rates provides efficient swarf extraction.

The power of the router motor allows the use of larger diameter cutters and faster feed rates, resulting in lower machining times in an infinite range of materials.

Suitable for routing, cutting and 3D profiling, it has a useful 100mm (4") z-axis clearance and is ideal for mould making, pattern making and a whole host of manufacturing tasks.

The VelociCut is a powerful and robust machine capable of taking heavier and faster cuts into all materials and is an excellent all round machine for 2D and 3D work.
