The Vacuum Chip Hose Kit allows you to extract swarf from inside the nose-cone maintaining consistent engraving depth
The Vacuum Chip Hose Kit is quickly attached to the Suregrave engraver by way of the vacuum boot and the optional vacuum unit.
By extracting swarf from inside the vacuum boot we eliminate ghosting even on very soft plastics such as coffin plates).
Extraction is recommended when ever using a rotating cutter (unless using a coolant system). Removal of the waste ensures cut depth is controlled and it keeps the machine and work area clean too.
Suregrave supply two vacuum systems depending upon your application and volume of work. All Suregrave systems from the Wizzard 12 upwards have the facility to auto start and stop the vacuum and other ancillary devices.
Pro Vacuum System
The Professional A swarf system is a continuous rated system for high volumes and extended periods of use. The system can be used where you are using fluids to aid cutting.
Power Vacuum System
The Power swarf system includes a 1000W motor, large bore hose and a whopping 50 litre bin making it ideal for high volume use. Filtering to 0.5 microns the Power system is suitable for materials which produce fine swarf particles such as MDF and rigid laminate.
Eco Vacuum
The Eco system will suit shorter cycles of engraving, thermal cut out is avoided thanks to the twin speed motor which should be set at 1 or low.
A swarf extraction fitting kit is available for all the Suregrave machines.
Vacuum Chip Hose Kit
