Suregrave Substrate -
Acrylic sheet which forms the base layer of the sign, into which the Braille (Raster) beads are inserted.
Suregrave Appliqué -
Acrylic sheet with self-adhesive backing which forms the top layer from which the raised (Tactile) letters/symbols are cut.

Description
Braille & Tactile signs are produced by sandwiching together layers of Substrate (base) & Appliqué (top) materials with an adhesive tape (tape can be pre-applied).
The tactile elements are created by cutting through the Appliqué and 'weeding' away the unwanted background.
The Braille holes are machined into the Substrate and 'raster' Braille beads inserted. Suregrave also supply software with inbuilt Braille type 1 & 2 translation and tools to insert the raster beads.
