Laser Scriptor is a patented additive used in Laser Marking Systems for glasses, ceramics and metallic materials. The marks can be made by CO2 and Nd.Yag lasers.
It couldn't be easier....
Our video shows just how easy it is to mark metals such as stainless steel using the Scriptor spray additive.
Ceramics and Glass Marking
The Laser Scriptor Additive for Ceramics and Glasses are made with components used in ceramic industries. The marks have high wear and chemical resistance, which allow the users to use all kind of cleaning products.
Colours available are:
· Green
· Blue
· Yellow/Black
(yellow at lower energies and black marks at higher energies). In this way is perfectly possible to obtain different colours tones with only one application, for example, using a greyscale image, where gray is recognized as a low power and black a high power.
The spray additive is applied above the substrate, and as result takes only a few seconds to get a thin and uniform layer of dry powder. The laser beam hits the layer combining additive and substrate, producing a permanent and high contrast mark. The powder which was not covered by the laser is easily removed with water and sponge, leaving the substrate perfectly clean.
Metal Marking
The Laser Scriptor Additive for Metal makes possible a permanent black mark in metallic materials. In most metals, the mark shows resistance equal or higher than the metal, this means UV rays, environmental elements (rain/frost/sea spray) or cleaning with a suitable agent will not damage the finish. The mark is made at the very top surface of the metal so heavy abrasives like wet and dry sandpaper can damage the mark.
