You can create Braille on any material used for a DDA sign by inserting a Raster™ (a precision-machined sphere) into a hole. It's that simple!
In flexible materials the Raster™ is held in place by the tight friction fit of the Raster™ in the material. Because the Rasters™ and the holes must be within precise tolerances, we offer precision-manufactured Rasters™ and precision cutters to get the job done right.

In metals and other hard surfaces, Rasters™ Spheres are held in place by the tight friction fit which can also be reinforced with adhesive.
The Raster™ method of Braille is compatible with most computer routing and engraving systems equipped with Braille translation software. Your engraving software must support a Grade 2 Braille font that utilises a single-point drill function.
