Mechanical Engravers
The Suregrave line will engrave anodised aluminium and produce quality indelible marks. A diamond tipped cutter is recommended for engraving rating plates, awards or gifts at high speed by selecting the controllers diamond profile. For taller, broader characters a conventional cutter and nose cone depth control can be used to control the depth, be sure to use the "ASM vacuum boot" which will extract swarf before it rolls under the cone marking the surface.
For deep engraving and colour filling the SureLab tool path generator will create incremental depth tool paths and the engraving speed set to "Standard Speed". The cutters should be ground for general use and cutting fluid used to maximise quality.

The Suregrave line all feature automated surface setting for diamond or nose cone engraving, in addition machines from the Wizzard 12 upwards can make use of an electronic surface setting block with the benefit it can bridge the gap over previously engraved tool paths allowing tools to be changed mid cycle without risk of changing the depth over the rest of the job.
For high volumes or 30% increase in productivity we recommend the optional High Frequency Spindle and a Mist Lubrication System to increase cutter life. A Cutter Grinder is useful for cutter sharpening and self-sufficiency.

Co2 Lasers
The inscribing of anodized aluminium or coated metals is especially easy with CO2 lasers. During the engraving of anodized aluminium, the inscribed surface becomes white and produces a good contrast.
For this type of application, a laser system with low output is preferential will allow more detailed engraver than a high power unit.
The engraved mark is always matt in effect.

Fiber Lasers
Fiber lasers produce the same contrasting effect as when using a Co2 system and are similarly suited.
Dual Co2 / Fibre Lasers
Both a CO2- and fiber laser are integrated into the industry's fastest laser in it's class, the Speedy 300 Flexx. Maxximum flexxibility is ensured as the flexx marks and engraves wood, glass, metal, leather... even mixxed materials can be processed in only one step.
