Typically a 60k high frequency spindle will reduce the machining times in metals by up to 66%. The increased rpm and controlled torque make light work of aluminium, brass and stainless steel and are suitable for conventional engraving, letter carving and s dimensional profiling. An additional benefit of the high rpm is in all cases

Coupling a high speed spindle (up to 60,000 rpm) with a nose cone ensures the fastest possible machining rates with accurate depth control.

Without the nose cone assembly it is possible for the internal dimensions of the motor to be maximised and more power generated with additional productivity gains.

20k High Frequency Routing Spindle
The 20k high frequency spindle is usually recommended for cutting applications in thicker materials such as mdf or acrylic.

The high frequency spindles can be fitted to the Excalibur, Gryphon, 2516i or 4824i machines or special application machines derived from them. Spindles are auto started/stopped by the machine controller.
