The compact design and optional sound reducing and safety interlocked hood make this an ideal machine for light or high speed routing jobs such as print and cut where space is at a premium.

Like the Excalibur the machine has been purposed designed to allow us to modify the Z clearance for special applications such as 150mm wooden sign posts and identification on outsize parts and moulds such as turbine fans.

Due to its intended use and high productivity large-bore hoses are fitted for swarf extraction enabling parts to be cut and swarf removed reliably,  a wide range of materials can be cut on the machine including woods, plastics and metals.

Suregrave Gryphon

An industrial T slot table is fitted with a replaceable sacrificial covering and this is machined to tolerance allowing precision routing to set depths without damaging the work table, many work-holding fixtures or devices can be fitted within minutes and the integral steel cover allows the optional vacuum table to be fitted without detriment to the acoustics.

Optional high frequency spindles (60,000 rpm) can be fitted to the Gryphon which will increase productivity and raise the quality of finish, particularly if used in conjunction with the optional spray mist coolant system.

The Gryphon delivers reliability and productivity as standard thanks to the development of the USB High Drive 2 controller which make today's machines up to 5 times more productive than older variants manufacturing the same job.
