Coming from the North or West of Newcastle
Take the A1 South around the West Side of the city (Newcastle). Take the exit signposted for Washington and Birtley (B1288). Up the slip road to a roundabout and turn right onto the A1231. Follow the dual carriageway down the hill to large roundabout. Go straight ahead again, following the A1231. As you drive along the dual carriageway take note of signposts for exits indicating which district the exit is for. Our exit is signposted district 15 and Nissan Factory. Take the slip road up to the roundabout and turn right, go down to the next roundabout and turn right again. 50 yards down this road turn left (faraday Close) and then left again. Go straight ahead to car park at the end.
Off A1M travelling North
Leave A1M on to the A195 (after Chester-Le-Street Junction, But before Washington/Birtley Services). Continue on this road until reaching large roundabout, go straight over this, next roundabout – straight over, next roundabout - turn right. The next three roundabouts go straight on.
The 4 Th roundabout – our unit is on the left of the roundabout. Turn left and left again to get to the front of the building.
Off A19 travelling North
Leave A19 at Washington turn off (after crossing bridge over river Wear). At the roundabout, turn left (A1231). Follow this road till you reach the first slip road (Nissan turning). At the roundabout turn left next roundabout turn right. Next left (Faraday Close), left again to get to the front of the building. |
